This is an excellent course for people that have administrator rights with Moodle. It clearly sets out how to set permissions, understand the structure of Moodle and lots more.

Anyone who knows Moodle will tell you it’s not hard to learn, but that there’s a lot of it!
What most of our clients lack is time… so this Moodle training workshop aims to give you sufficient grasp and confidence of the Moodle functionality to make informed decisions about the design of your own courses, to think strategically about the implementation of Moodle or to support other Moodle users in your organisation.
‘I wish I’d known that 6 months ago’, ‘I’m so glad that I learned that before we started to set up our site’, ‘Aha! That’s why it’s doing that’ and ‘I now need to review our strategy’ are the sorts of comments we hear a lot during our Moodle administrator training days.
There’s no such thing as “one size fits all” when setting up a learning platform for an organisation. Moodle works well with its “out of the box” settings but day-to-day Moodle administrators and strategic planners all need to be able to make informed choices from the wide range of set up scenarios.
2 days: Available as an open course
We also offer an onsite version that we tailor to meet the needs of specific organisations - please call to discuss your requirements
Our course opens up the potential of working together online in a safe environment where you, as the learner, experience the issues that others will encounter in courses that you facilitate.
We introduce you to concepts and models that you can employ in your own context in this experiential course – you can’t learn this out of a book.
Our experienced facilitators are on hand to challenge and support you whilst modelling good practice throughout.
4 weeks online: Around 4 hours participation per week
